This is the reason that by 2020, more than 24 billion internet connected devices will be set up for individuals around the world. This means that every human on earth will have four connected devices at hand.
The internet of things originated for PCs and then moved to smart phones, smart watches, tablets, and TVs. But now the IoT Umbrella is taking over each and every device we have around us. This injection of IoT will bring transformations to our work, transportation, our cities, and even to our homes.
