It is said that the attack took place few weeks ago, State Bank of India, ICICI, Yes and Axis are few of the worst victims of the attack.

Banks have advised card holders to change their PINs as they take more steps to block the affected cards ASAP. The stolen cards will be replaced with the new ones.

According to some sources, the malware attack took around six weeks to detect and has compromised transactions in that time period. The exact damage is still unknown but few victims have reported unauthorized usage of their cards from different locations in China.
