All successful people have some great habits that make them great. If we take a look at the common habits of many successful people, we see the following:
- Time management
- Confidence
- Consistency
- Not living in the past
- Listening ability
- Being honest with themselves
- Saying No
- Hating procrastination
- Empathy
- At least 7 hours of sleep
In this post, I want to take about the top three most important habits and how they play an instrumental role in gearing up with the rest of the habits, at least they lay down a solid foundation for you to get started.
Time management:
’Eat a live frog first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day’-Mark Twain
A successful person goes with the priority list and stays on the clock, schedules everything accordingly, and moves forward according to his schedule. They set their own deadlines, set milestones and ensure they stay ahead of time to meet those deadlines.
They hate staying idle and curse procrastination because they understand, time is money.
They are always on time and expect others to respect the time too.
By staying on the clock, they become confident enough in their endeavors in life.
Confidence:
They have a firm belief in their abilities and also in the people who work with them. They trust their potential, guts, and also instincts. This leads them very confidently among the hordes.
They exhibit confidence and encourage others to give their best but most importantly, they gain all their confidence through years of experience of doing something repeatedly. This habit is also linked to the third habit mentioned below.
Consistency:
This third habit is connected with the first two habits, time and confidence.
By staying true on the clock and mustering up the courage to take challenges of life, successful people follow a consistent routine.
They understand, consistency is the key and by building bit by bit together, they are giving themselves a chance of pursuing a big goal in their life.
