Apple enables life-saving iPhone emergency settings

Apple recently announced that the next version of iOS, 11.3 — will enable Advanced Mobile Location (AML) that will automatically send your current location to emergency services. Currently, the service is only for those countries where this solution is supported.

It is a very pleasant introduction specially when Android has lot of apps working specifically for this purpose worldwide. Some apps send emergency notification to the selected contact list with click of power buttons without opening the mobile phone whereas some send the notifications to the emergency centres. It was very strange for Apple not to introduce this handy feature initially that could save lives when needed the most.
