Yes, you heard it right. Apple has finally joined Twitter and it has over 100k Followers already and guess what, Apple has not tweeted yet.
The account was created in 2011 but it was dormant. Apple activated their account few hours back (Friday), perhaps on the eve of their September 7th new iPhone announcement. The account has the new invitation picture set as cover background photo.
Apple already has a Twitter account for Apple Music, Apple News and Support Service but the company’s parent account was never activated before. It is also verified (see blue tick) by Twitter now.
One wonders if September 7 event is going to be the biggest in Apple’s History.
