Daniel Ives, an analyst from the Omega leaks and Rumors says, Apple is working on introducing two iPhone 12 models that will support only 4G networks.
With 5G just a normal thing for all new flagship models of major phone manufacturers, there are many countries where the spectrum does not allow 5G yet. For these countries, Apple is reportedly working on launching two cheaper 4G only models in iPhone 12 models. The front line of the iPhone 12 of course will support 5G.
According to Ives, iPhone 12 will start from $549 while the LTE only iPhone 12 will come with a price tag of $649 only. The iPhone 12 will have an LCD display similar to the vanilla iPhone 11 model. From the Ives report, it is clear that Apple is focused on introducing a wide range of products for different, emerging markets to increase its sales in the near future by capturing more consumer base and introducing amazing, affordable prices.
So it seems like, Apple will launch six iPhone 12 models that will include iPhone 12 4G, iPhone 12 Max 4G, iPhone 12 5G, Pro 5G, and iPhone 12 Max 5G.
