Here’s how you can Create/Follow a WhatsApp channel Today

WhatsApp channel is rolled out all over the world. Initially launched for selective accounts, primarily in the USA, WhatsApp has now made this feature available for all users. You can create a WhatsApp channel to share updates and connect with your followers. To begin with, you’ll need a WhatsApp account to get started. You can also access Channels through the WhatsApp app.
If you have a WhatsApp account, update it to the latest version.

How to Create a Whatsapp Channel:

First of all, you need to update your WhatsApp application from Google Playstore, or Apple App Store.
To add more security to your channel, turn on two-step verification for the WhatsApp account creating your channel and on the accounts of any admins.
If you are struggling to create a WhatsApp channel, update your app now and refresh, you will be able to see the “Create channel” tab inside the Channel tab,

Create a channel:

  • Open WhatsApp Web, and go to Channels by clicking the Channels icon
  • Click  > Create channel.
  • Click Continue and continue through the onscreen prompts.
  • Add a channel name to finish creating your channel. You can choose to change the name again at any time.
  • Customize your channel: You can customize your channel now by adding a description and icon or wait until later.
  • Add a channel description: Write a few words to help potential followers understand what your channel is about.
  • Add a channel icon: Add an image from your phone or the web to stand out.
  • Click Create channel, and you’re done!
Now that you’re all set up with a channel, learn how to share an update here. You can find and share a link to your channel from the channel info page.
To get to your channel info page:
  • Open Channels by clicking the Channels icon.
  • Click your channel, and then your channel name.
  • Click the Copy link.

How to follow a channel?

Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your Android mobile phone or iPhone.
Step 2: Go to the ‘Updates’ tab and scroll all the way down.
Step 3: On this screen, either tap the suggested Channels, click the Find Channels button, or tap the Plus icon/ See All option.
Step 4: Once you find a channel, you can follow it instantly by clicking the follow button. You can follow Hisham Sarwar here.

2- Search for the channel you are looking for by clicking the search tab.
