In December 2018, Elon Musk announced that he will announce a Neuralink product that can make anyone superhuman by connecting their brains to a computer. Last year in July, Elon Musk revealed that he’s tested Neuralink brain microchip on monkeys and it was able to control a computer with its mind.
This year, just 5 months ago, Elon Musk tweeted that “Neuralink” AI brain chips could be tested on humans this year.
This week on Twitter, Elon Musk says that Neuralink, a company founded by him in 2016 that aims to develop a computer-brain interface will provide a new update on its progress on August 28. It would be interesting to see that after Monkeys are humans next for the trail.
One wonders if the trial on humans has already started and Elon Musk is going to tell us about the results of the test? Neuralink is headquartered in San Fransico. The company was founded to help neurological disorders in patients and use technology to help mitigate their effects.
