Facebook Marketplace is quickly growing and the company’s vision of making Facebook a one stop platform for every requirement and usage on internet is quickly converting from a mere concept to a true reality. Be it Facebook Marketplace for Cars or Facebook Marketplace, users are turning to world’s biggest social media platform for buying their next product or at-least for internet window shopping.
Facebook is giving Craigslist a tough competition and very rightly so because of its number of users. Currently the world’s biggest social networking website has more number of users than the number of cars on the road and planes in the sky all over the world. As of the second quarter of 2018, Facebook had 2.23 billion monthly active users.
Facebook now begins testing Marketplace ads in the U.S. that will enable users to pay on order to “Boost” their listing to more people through the News Feed. Facebook also announced that, it is all set to launch product ads from businesses that appear within Marketplace.
Marketplace was initially opened for US users in January and expanded to Canada in May. Now the marketplace ads are available for New Zealand and Australia as well alongside US and Canada.
The boost ads will facilitate the sellers in a long way and will fetch quick buyers as the number of people who can see the ads will increase substantially.
