Apple’s iPhone 8 is one of the most awaited phones of 2017. A lot of features are expected to become a part of the 10th anniversary device that is continuously being buzzed around. For people who have not been able to review how many premium features this device will include, following are the few features of the iPhone based on the speculated rumors.
Laser autofocus camera:
A rear camera equipped with a 3D laser system will be one of the prominent features of the upcoming iPhone 8. This system will be able to collect the speed of light by measuring the time it takes for light from the laser to bounce back from the object a camera is focusing on.
Fingerprint sensor:
The new iPhone is expected to be devoid of the home button and will be provided with a Touch ID sensor.
Facial recognition:
A new facial recognition system is reported to be tested by Apple in its new iPhone which will have the ability to scan a user’s face for verification during tasks such as making payments.
USB-C:
The universally adopted lightening charging port is expected to be dropped in the iPhone 8 and will be provided with a 10W power adapter with a USB-C connector.
AR-based features:
The iPhone 8 is expected to be augmented reality centered phone. The AR experiences are developed with an ARkit by Apple’s team that will also be responsible for creating AR and VR-based app.
