Golf ball-sized hailstones battered the parts of France. The size was so big, it killed one person and injured many people. In a terrifying video filmed by a motorist in Romans-sur-Isère region in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, shows the huge size of ice balls smashing the windscreen of his car. Many other cars windshields were smashed.

Hail the size of golf balls! Locals of the Drome region in France filmed the moment these huge hail stones fell during a storm, which swept across the region.
