A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Balochistan government and Google provides funding for 2000 scholarships for young Baloch people. According to the agreement, Google will furnish 2000 additional internship and scholarship opportunities for college students in the province.
The collaboration aims to equip young human beings with the capabilities to earn handsome quantities in today’s digital era. Google has also proven its interest in digitalizing the provincial facts department.
The match was attended by Balochistan Finance Minister Zamrik Khan Achakzai, chief secretary Abdul Aziz Aqaili, Secretary Information Technology Tayyab Lahri, Information Secretary Muhammad Hamza Safarat, and Google Team Leader Umar Farooq.

Chief Secretary Abdul Aziz Aqaili noted that “the settlement with Google is a huge development, pushed by Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo’s dedication to supplying dignified employment possibilities for the youth. Google had until now given one thousand scholarships to Balochistan’s youth, and now they are imparting an extra 2000 scholarships, with 1000 for ladies and one thousand for boys”.
The new step of giving scholarships to deserving candidates will absolutely carry a sizable improvement in records technology. The application will offer worldwide certification, assist participants to attain online jobs, and will have an opportunity to earn up to 1,000 greenbacks per month. This initiative is a phase of
Google’s earlier provision of 1,000 scholarships to Balochistan’s adolescents in May.

Google announced 1,000 youth scholarships in May 2023, and by then more than 900 students had applied.
