About Ras Al Khaimah
In 1976, His highness Sheikh Saqr bin Muhammed Al Qasimi officially started Ras Al Khaimah International Airport. This airport mainly helps with local flights, moving goods, and cargo. It has two passenger buildings and places for handling cargo, fixing planes, and teaching about aviation.
Over time, the airport had some difficulties, especially with its airline called RAK Airways. This was because of the global money problems. Now, Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is an important place only for Air Arabia.
