LG seems to getting this year off to an exciting start by bringing its bezel-less display to a much smaller and affordable Q6. This bezel-less smartphone is expected to be brought to a mid-ranged Q6 handset. This is going to be a completely new handset with a similar display which will be a bit smaller and resolution as compared to the G6 model.
With an 18:9 aspect ratio on a 5.5-inch panel the screen makes the device look much smaller and the tiny bezels dominate the whole display. LG is expected to be launching three of the Q6 models and all of them including last year’s Snapdragon 435 processors. Among the three models, the regular Q6 has a 3GB of RAM along with a 32GB of storage. The Q6+ on the other hand has a doubled storage of 64GB which increases the RAM to 4GB. But the latest model includes only a 2GB of RAM providing 16GB of storage capacity. All the models have similar designs with an aluminum frame including a 13-mega pixel camera and an Android Nougat 7.1.1.
Up till now, the company has not revealed the price of any of the upcoming models of the smartphones. Also, there no fixed date has been decided yet for the availability of the models. But reports state that the upcoming models will be available in the Asian markets from next month.
