According to reports of the Japanese language website Macotakara, the Macbook Air and latest Mackbook Pros are expected to be publicized this month by Apple. The production of Macbook pros and Amcbook Air’s 13-inch version started in the second calendar quarter. According to Director Tablet and Notebook PCs at IHS Markit Technology Rhoda Alexander, this will revive the 13.3-inch and 15.4-inch Mackbook Pro and the 13.3-inch Macbook Air.
The production of 11-inch Mackbook’s version is expected to be discontinued. The reason is that super-svelte 12-inch Mackbook is already proving to be a good substitute for it. In the new Macbook version, it will not have the traditional USB-A connector instead it will be equipped with USB-C and Thenderbolt 3 port support. According to Macotakara, the Magsafe connecter is also believed to be gone. This would follow the 12-inch Macbook which has already successfully replaced Magsafe with a USB-C connector for charging.
According to editor in chief of tech website Anandtech Rayn Smith, these are the kind of redesigns Apple should have made years ago. Most of the iPhone’s models are still being fully priced even when they are years out of date. A customer’s investment for such models is surely a bad deal which they probably do not want to make.
