It is time to say goodbye to Windows phone. Head of Microsoft Windows division admits that we should not expect anything more from Windows Phone. It mean no future phones and we have seen the last of it, CNET reports.
That being said, company has plans to facilitate its existing Windows phone users. There will be security updates but this is it, Microsoft will not working on any software or hardware update.
Of course we’ll continue to support the platform.. bug fixes, security updates, etc. But building new features/hw aren’t the focus. 😟https://t.co/0CH9TZdIFu

Joe has also stated that, the reason why Microsoft has taken this decision is because of lack of interest, support from companies and developers related to Windows phone apps. There are just not much phone Apps for the users.
We have tried VERY HARD to incent app devs. Paid money.. wrote apps 4 them.. but volume of users is too low for most companies to invest. ☹️ https://t.co/ePsySxR3LB
