It’s always like as if the social media giant does what is most wanted by its users. And this time too, Facebook seems to have heard its fans as it has decided to add these emotions to its Messenger. It isn’t long since Facebook added a slew of Reaction buttons to its main platform but these were not available to its Messenger users.
For now, the platform is testing these reactions with a small group of users and upon getting a positive outcome; this feature can make its way to the Facebook Messenger. The company seems to be aiming towards making its Messenger platform more entertaining for its users so that it can engage a larger audience. This would help the users to better express their feeling by using a reaction emoji in a message.
This new feature will allow Messenger users to incorporate emojis next to the text in their conversations by clicking on the button available next to the text. For posts, the reaction buttons will be similar to the current buttons that are being used on the main platform but the company has made some additions.
For the Messenger users, there will be an additional button i.e. the dislike button. This new feature will be good for people who have long been demanding a “dislike” button but we will have to wait and watch whether the Reaction button actually makes the conversation more convenient in Facebook Messenger or not.
