Apple’s new iOS version is out. It is iOS13 and it is designed to give your iPhone a whole new look. Even though it seems to be little buggy for older iPhone versions but still it is by far the most powerful iOS we have seen. The new feature to swipe your fingers to write on the keyboard without actually pressing the keys comes in years after the Android initially introduced it.
Here are the new features:
Dark Mode:
Dark Mode option gives all apps a beautiful dark color scheme and it is very easy on eyes. It is just about perfect for the low-light environment. The feature can be scheduled to turn on and off at a certain time to adjust for day and night.
Photos:
You can browse your photo library with different levels of curation in the new photos tab in iOS13. The feature includes auto-playing the live photos and videos with smart photo reviews including contextual transitions.
The new photo gallery allows you to remove duplicate photos, screenshots so you can see the best shots only.
There is improved video editing support to apply filters, crop the video and make it look professional. The new tools such as Vibrance, white balance, nondestructive video edits are just about what doctors ordered.
Camera:
The improved camera software lets you adjust the portrait lighting intensity. It auto-adjusts the lighting by increasing or decreasing the intensity based on the environment thus creating a classic look for your pictures. The portrait segmentation API now supports skin, hair and teeth segmentation for creating new effects for portrait mode.
Privacy and Security:
Control the location data for apps with new controls. You chose to allow access to your location when you want to rather than apps using it all the time. The new privacy and security system also allows for Wi-fi and Bluetooth location privacy enhancements.
Maps:
The new iOS13 has new map features that introduce more realistic details for roads, beaches, parks, buildings etc. You can now build collections for your favorite locations and also share them with your friends and family. You can look around before you decide to go to a place by experiencing a rich 3D experience that gives you a 360-degree view of a place. The map allows seamless transitions as you navigate your way around.
Siri:
Siri sounds more advanced, natural than ever. It can now play podcasts, music, audiobooks and radio with 3rd party apps and has a new Indian-English voice for Indian audience because of the huge Indian iPhone population.
