Now you will be able to share WhatsApp statuses to Facebook and Instagram

Earlier this year, in January, it was revealed that Mark Zuckerberg is going to integrate WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger. Facebook is now officially testing this feature and has rolled out a beta program for both iOS and Android for you to take it for a spin and use the service.

You will be able to share WhatsApp status directly to Facebook and Instagram with a click of a button.

In order to avoid over-kill, the status has to be shared manually rather than auto enabling each status for a cross-platform share. Facebook may introduce this feature down the road too but for now, you have to manually share your status.

The shared status of WhatsApp will go to Facebook and Instagram stories. It seems like Facebook has worked on creating one unified API for all three platforms to enable the content sharing from one app to another. Right now it is WhatsApp enabling the share, we are not sure if users will be able to share Instagram stories or Facebook stories to other platforms in the future too.
