The Global rankings 2019 is released and it includes Pakistan’s Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad among the 500 best universities in the world.
QAU is marked at the global score of 46.6. The University was also ranked in top 500 Universities in Times Higher Education (THE) list earlier this year.
1250 educational institutes across the globe were taken into account in the rankings compiled by state news and World report.
Only 6 Pakistani universities have made it to the ranking.
Here is how the other Pakistan universities have ranked in the report.
- National University of Sciences & Technology marked a global score of 32 and is ranked at 917.
- The University of Punjab is ranked at the position of 1055
University of Agriculture, Faisalabad had a global score of 25.5 while ranking as 1100th. - Bahauddin Zakariya University is ranked at 1240th.
It comes as a surprise that no Indian University could make it to the Global top 100 list. The ranking is made on the basis of universities academic research and reputation. Indian Institute of Science is ranked at 509th with a score of 46.3.
