If a traveler already has a legitimate visa for the US, Uk, or the Schengen region, they can now apply for an instant e-visa to enter Saudi Arabia.
An e-visa is an additional choice for citizens of any member state of the European Union who are permanent residents. A visa-on-arrival can be given to first-degree relatives by those who have permanent status at any airport, on land, or at sea.
The US, UK, or any of the Schengen countries has made an exception for individuals with current tourist or business visas, provided they have entered the country of issuance
The Kingdom permits holders of visas from the United States, the European Union (Schengen), and the United Kingdom, and their residents, to issue a tourist visa electronically and immediately through the @KSAMOFA website, according to the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Tourism. “This completes the process of facilitating procedures and providing an integrated tourism experience,” the ministry said.
The Hajj or Umrah cannot be performed during the pilgrimage season, according to the Ministry of Tourism, which was made explicit.
As per an assertion from the Ministry, the previously mentioned activity is steady with MT’s initiatives to simplify it for individuals who need to visit the Kingdom to do such, empowering them to profit from vacation destinations, participate in the travel industry exercises, and find more about the legacy and breadth of the Kingdom’s history.
As part of its efforts to boost tourism, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued a new transit visa in February for passengers who were booked on Saudi Arabian airlines—Saudia Airlines or Flynas—and had a layover in the country.
The three-month visa has a three-month validity duration and is free of charge. As such, you have as long as 90 days to apply for the visa.
