Reading emails is pretty easy while you are on the go, but it takes an effort to respond to every one of the emails. Google has an update if you are going through this type of situation. The company has introduced Smart Reply. This is a feature that creates automated responses based on email content and a user’s writing style.
Smart Reply was first launched for Google’s Gmail offshoot, Inbox, and for its chat app named Allo. The Smart Reply suggests three kinds of responses based on the email received.
Once a user has selected one, they can send it immediately or edit their responses started with the Smart Reply text. This will help the user to save a lot of time. This feature utilizes machine learning to prove better responses to users the more they use it. The Smart Reply will suggest a response that reflects more of your style of writing. For example, if you are more of a “thanks!” than a “thanks” kind of person, it will suggest a response that is more you.
Globally, Smart Reply will roll out to Android and iOS initially in English but in the coming weeks, Google aims to introduce the same feature in Spanish. It will introduce more languages with the passage of time.
