Tax Exemption On IT Exports in Pakistan Extended For Another Six Years

In order to promote and encourage technological advancements in the country and encourage more digital freelancing and entrepreneurship, Tax holiday on IT exports has been extended for six years till 2025.

Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahid Abbasi promised tax incentives for IT companies to encourage new startups and ventures in Pakistan. This step will also be benefit more digital investments in the country.

The announcement was made at inauguration of the National Incubation Center (NIC) at NED University, in Karachi.

Loans will be given at low rates and will require less collateral; tech special economic zones will also be built to facilitate the sector –  Shahid Khaqan Abbasi
