Technology Will Find Your Moment in Seconds

One’s living remembrance of a moment spent with the Rebbe is the most valuable gift.

JEM has launched a new face recognition technology that makes searching through half a million photos of interactions with the Rebbe easier.

Thirty Years Since Gimmel Tammuz

Hundreds of thousands of people have memories of receiving a dollar from the Rebbe, participating in Kos Shel Bracha, or other personal interactions that were photographed.

Discovering a new photo of such a moment is very special.

New Technology

JEM is excited to introduce a face recognition feature on their photo archive website.

Users can upload photos and search through the archives to find similar faces.

With so many photos of personal interactions with the Rebbe available, the chances of finding something meaningful are high.

How It Works

  1. Locate a Photo: Pick out a crisp picture of you or a family member taken during their time with the Rebbe.
  2. Upload the Photo: Go to [JEM’s Face Recognition Page](https://photos.jemedia.org/face-recognition) and upload your photo.
  3. Get Results: The system will quickly scan hundreds of thousands of photos and show you the ones that match your uploaded photo.

Additional Features

You can share the results with your family or order a photocopy. Video stills are also included, and video encounters can be purchased.

Bringing You Closer to the Rebbe

This new feature uses artificial intelligence to make the archives more accessible, allowing users to discover personal connections to the Rebbe that they might not have known about.

Work in Progress

The JEM tech team has been working hard to make this feature accurate and user-friendly.

Although it’s still being improved, it is now available to the public in honour of Gimmel Tammuz.

It will be free for one month and become an exclusive benefit for JEM Members.

Current Limitations

The face recognition feature is still being improved. The results and the photo database’s comprehensiveness will continue to improve.

It must still be 100% accurate, but JEM is committed to refining the technology and expanding the database.

Gratitude

Special thanks to Motti Hazan, Memke Schmukler, Levi Naki, Levik Shmotkin, Elchonon Korenblit, and the entire technology team.

Thanks also to Rabbis Elkanah Shmotkin and Mendel Gourarie for their leadership.

Conclusion

JEM is dedicated to sharing the Rebbe with all. This new feature is a testament to that commitment. Visit [JEM’s Face Recognition Page](https://photos.jemedia.org/face-recognition) to uncover your moments with the Rebbe.
