A Twitter employee deliberately deactivated US President Donald Trump’s Twitter account on his last day of the job on Thursday evening. Trump’s official account @realdonaldtrump was down for 11 minutes.
“Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!” was the message every one saw when they accessed Mr.President’s Twitter account. Twitter issued an official statement saying, the account was deactivated “due to human error by a Twitter employee”.
Earlier today @realdonaldtrump’s account was inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee. The account was down for 11 minutes, and has since been restored. We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.

Soon after the first statement was issued, another statement surfaced from Twitter revealing the actual incident.
“Through our investigation we have learned that this was done by a Twitter customer support employee who did this on the employee’s last day. We are conducting a full internal review,” – Twitter
When the account was restored after 11 minutes, President Trump Tweeted.
My Twitter account was taken down for 11 minutes by a rogue employee. I guess the word must finally be getting out-and having an impact.
