WhatsApp features such as allowing users to take conversation screenshots or dark mode may well be far away or at least on the back burner for now but one of the highlighting features of WhatsApp for iOS is finger scanning.
Good news for Android users, finger scan is now coming to Android. The beta version is already out and you can download it from APKMirror. If you are always worried about people checking your WhatsApp private chats when they get hold of your phone, that worry is going away forever.
With finger scan, only you will be able to unlock the WhatsApp splash screen and see the messages which make it is safe for anybody to use your phone.
In case you are already running the Beta, you can find it hiding under WhatsApp Settings > Account > Privacy > Fingerprint Lock.
This is good news for husbands, now you won’t be busted by the spouse for your chats any more.
