WhatsApp testing multi-account feature for iOS users

WhatsApp testing multi-account feature for iOS users

In October 2023, WhatsApp introduced multi-account support for Android users, enabling them to use two WhatsApp accounts on the same smartphone without relying on app clones or the WhatsApp Business app workaround.

This feature is currently unavailable for iPhone users but may change soon. According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp tests multi-account bolster for iPhones, permitting users to work two accounts with separate numbers on one device. The usefulness is anticipated to work on iPhones essentially to how it does on Android devices.

According to the source, this feature was identified in version 25.2.10.70 of WhatsApp’s iOS beta app. However, it is not yet accessible to beta users, who will need to wait for future updates on the beta channel to simultaneously use WhatsApp with two different numbers on an iPhone. Once the development is finalized, the multi-account support is expected to roll out to all iOS users globally, which may take a few months.
