We all are annoyed with inability to control who can add us to different WhatsApp groups. According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will make it much easier for the users to control who can add them to a group.
With this new update, users will decide who can add them to a WhatsApp group. Currently, anyone can add any WhatsApp user to any group and if they do not like staying in the group, they can either put that group on a silent status or leave the group, a step that of-course is visible to every group member.
The new feature is currently under closed beta testing phase on iPhone, and is expected to be rolled out in the next beta update for WhatsApp on iPhone.
The WhatsApp group invitation feature is limited to the iPhone users as of now. It is expected that the feature will soon be introduced in the Android version too.
