The education department of Punjab has partnered with Tech Valley UK and Canada to supply 200 schools throughout the province with Chromebooks.
The goal of the agreement, which was signed by Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, is to improve instructors’ and students’ digital learning and IT proficiency.
With funding from Google for Education, Tech Valley will provide 10,000 Punjabi students and teachers with IT training in addition to Chromebooks. A significant step in realizing the goal of a “Digital Punjab” is this collaboration.

The agreement’s significance was emphasized by Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, who said that it would let students study IT in addition to traditional scientific and art courses for their matriculation and intermediate studies.
With the help of this program, the province hopes to enhance its educational system by giving pupils the essential digital skills they will need in the future.
