People in Sweden are embedding microchips in their skin to replace ID cards

According to Business Insider, thousands of people in Sweden and having microchips implanted under their skin so that do not have to carry key cards, ID cards, or even train tickets.

According to a news published in Yahoo, around 3000 people in Sweden have inserted a microchip – as tiny as a grain of rice.

The programme was initiated 3 years ago and many Swedish people have volunteered for this implant.

In this video, Swedish rail operator accepts microchip tickets.

People with the implants have to wave their hand near a machine to enter their office or gym. This saves time of taking the ID card and swapping it through a machine.
