This Pakistani man bought life’s first lottery ticket and won $1m grand prize

A lucky Pakistani businessman living in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is an over night millionaire. He got the biggest surprise of his life after buying his life’s first lottery ticket at Dubai Duty Free.  He was lucky enough to hit the jackpot, Gulf News reported.

The name of the lucky man is Numan Arif, a businessman from Peshawar. He bought the lottery coupon online for a a popular millionaire draw.

On Tuesday, Numan was picked as the winner of the $ million grand prize during a draw at the Dubai International Airport. His ticket number was 0241

The 32-year-old is a owner of a bike leasing company and was extremely happy as well as shocked about his luck.

“Thank you, Dubai Duty Free for providing this life-changing experience to become a dollar millionaire,” Nauman Arif .

Nauman Arif is only the 16th Pakistani national to have hit the Dubai Duty Free jackpot. The lottery began in 1999.
