The Facebook-owned company, WhatsApp is one of the world’s largest text and video chat service. Ever since occupied by Facebook, WhatsApp is rolling out new features almost every second week and that too without introducing advertisements so far in the App. The recent Facebook F8 conference was a massive hit, Messenger desktop version is coming soon just like WhatsApp Web.
It is revealed by WAbetaInfo, a company that keeps a close eye on WhatsApp new features that the company is working on bringing in voice calls to WhatsApp desktop version. We are not sure how soon this feature will be rolled out but we can safely say, WhatsApp subscriber base will grow exponentially high because of desktop voice call facility.
As you can see from the picture leak, the voice call from the WhatsApp web is being tested by the company and will be available in the main menu. Just like the mobile app, by simply tapping on that option, you will be able to make a voice and a video call.
