Anyone aged 18 and above in Pakistan can apply for the ID card.
How to Apply for a New Smart ID Card: You can apply for your New Smart NIC by visiting a NADRA Registration Center (NRC) or through the Pak Identity website.

To get your Smart National Identity Card (SNIC), visit the Pak Identity website and opt for doorstep delivery. However, fresh/new CNIC applications cannot be submitted through the website.
NIC Smart Card Fee Update: As of February 2024, the normal fee for the New Smart National Identity Card remains unchanged. The fee for the normal category remains at Rs750, while the urgent fee is Rs1,500. For the executive category, Nadra charges Rs2,500.
