The Federal Education Ministry of Pakistan is about to embark on a large-scale initiative to provide students with cutting-edge knowledge of emerging technology. The “Emerging Technology Centers” program would be introduced at 350 schools in Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu Kashmir, and Islamabad.
The government’s strategic aim to make Pakistan a global IT hub includes the tech centres project. The centers aim to introduce young children to digital tools and skills crucial for future jobs by incorporating advanced technologies like virtual reality (VR), artificial intelligence (AI), and data analytics into the school curriculum.

An official from the Ministry of Federal Education stated, “The establishment of these tech centres is a major step towards preparing our students for the challenges and opportunities of the digital age.” “Our goal is to build IT sector skills and capacity, improving Pakistan’s IT sector exports and capabilities while also preparing students for a digital future.”
The centers will include cutting-edge resources and facilities to give students practical experience with data analytics, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence. In addition, the project seeks to create a pool of highly qualified workers who can support the expansion of the national economy, thereby addressing the existing skill gaps in the IT sector.
The Ministry of Federal schooling initiative is anticipated to significantly affect schooling outcomes and the nation’s overall technological prowess and export potential.
