A complete plan for the introduction of 5G networks in Pakistan has been provided by the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication. Based on official records provided in Parliament, installation for Telecommunications companies has been scheduled for June 2025. Accordingly, Carriers will begin rolling out 5G nationwide in July 2025.
According to the plan, an expert will present suggestions for the Spectrum advisory panel by February. The group intends to complete policy changes in March that will handle important issues including taxes, trading conditions, and spectrum pricing.
The order will be approved by the federal government in the beginning of April, and in May, the 2300 MHz, 3500 MHz, 2600 MHz, And 700 MHz spectrum areas are set to go up for sale. The purpose with this strategic strategy is to guarantee a planned and effective rollout of “5G Technology” throughout the nation.
