Google is also updating its Messages for web service. The new version will include full RCS (Rich Communication Services) support, making it easier to send high-quality photos and videos from your browser.
The new design and features will be available in December.
Wi-Fi Auto Connect+ Expands Nationwide
Google Fi is expanding its Wi-Fi Auto Connect+ feature. This tool automatically connects users to fast, secure Wi-Fi in busy places like airports, malls, and stores.
“We’re expanding this feature to millions of locations, including airports like LAX, ORD, and JFK, and major shopping centers,” said Jane Harnett, Senior Product Manager for Google Fi Wireless. “It works automatically, costs nothing extra, and even encrypts your online activity for safety.”

AI Summaries in the Google Fi App
Another update is coming to the Google Fi app. It will now use AI summaries to explain your phone bill, monthly changes, and how switching plans might affect future costs. This makes it easier for users to understand what they’re paying for and why.

To celebrate these updates, Google Fi is offering a 50% discount for 15 months to new customers who bring their own phone and sign up for the Unlimited Essentials or Unlimited Plan.
