Rumors have been swirling from many weeks: Samsung is going to reveal Galaxy Book to compete with leading laptops of all times. We can now verify that those rumors were partly true as the company has taken off the lid of its new devices. Samsung has revealed its spiritual successors as Galaxy Books.

These Galaxy Books are available in two sizes: 10.6 inches and 12 inches. The bigger inch model is the stronger one but an S-pen is included in both of eh devices.

Design:
Both the front and back of the tablet are covered because the Galaxy Books come with an iPad Pro-like keyboard case. This seems to be an improved deal over the Tab Pro Sand the keys are present with a more Chiclet-style along with back lightening.
Along with other benefits, the AMOLED screen on the larger model looks more beautiful. The colors are saturated and seem to get bright as well. This model is larger therefore it is equipped with an HDR support.
On the other hand, the smaller model does not have an impressive LCD but it does have good colors, contrasts, and angles. The only thing is that being a smaller version, it does not have AMOLED. Both the Galaxy Books are light weighted. The S-pen does not dock into the unit but can be attached to the keyboard instead.
This generation of Galaxy Books is a big leap from Samsung’s previous devices. It feels more precise to write with finer 0.7mm tip and it has been refined with a rubber-on-glass texture.
Both the Samsung Galaxy models are available in standard silver and grey tones. Instead of the premium black or white leatherette options from the company’s Tab Pro S, these feel much solid.
Battery Life:
Almost 10 hours of battery life is claimed by Samsung for the both of its Galaxy Books. If priced right, Samsung’s new Galaxy Books can be a big hit in the market because the models are bundled with keyboard and stylus. With basic impression of Samsung’s Tab Pro S last year, these are good Galaxy Books but are not comparable to a laptop.
