WhatsApp with a new update is becoming more of a visual platform. The visual messaging options could help WhatsApp stay relevant with teens. This young generation seems to be demographic that uses messaging apps the most.
Today, WhatsApp is allowing its iOS users to automatically group a set of five or more photos that are required to be sent. This will enable users to avoid confusion during a conversation with all images tiled together. By tapping on the screen, users will view all of the photos in an album.
This is a good update for sending multiple images instead of a stream of in-line images. This is going be really useful in group chats. WhatsApp is also planning to add some of the Facebook’s other apps including filters right in the camera. Currently, there are only five but they do work with GIFs, Photos, and videos. Also, there will be a new reply shortcut; swiping right on an individual message in a thread will help users to rightly respond to it.
Although there are no updates when features will become available for Android users but it’s easy to guess that it won’t be long.
