A few hours after turning down a possible game-changing agreement that might influence the direction of Artificial intelligence (AI), OpenAI CEO Sam Altman took to social media to criticize competitor Musk’s company. Despite a huge offer to purchase his business, he informed the Elon Musk-led consortium of financiers that its ChatGPT creator is not for sale.
For a long period, Musk attempts a variety of things. In a conversation at the Paris AI Leadership Summit on Tuesday, Altman told Bloomberg TV, “That is the most recent you understand, the latest episode.” “I believe he’s just attempting to slow us down.”
Musk declared on Monday that he is in charge of an organization of investors who have made a $97.4 billion offer to purchase OpenAI. In a few years, that for-profit business elevated OpenAI from nearly worthless to a value of about $100 billion, and Altman is widely recognized as the driving force behind that strategy and the secret to the business’s success.
Musk asserts that by attempting to turn a business off of its AI technologies, OpenAI has violated its original mission.
Elon has become a competitor since he founded x.AI, an AI startup.
In the interview, Altman stated, “I wish he would just compete by building a better product, but I think there’s been a lot of tactics.” There have been several lawsuits and other bizarre things, and now this. And we’ll make an effort to just focus and continue working.
Altman concurred and disparaged his rival when asked if Musk is tackling his plan to counter OpenAI from a place of fear.

An inquiry for comment from X and Musk’s spokespeople was not answered.
Although he conceded that Musk may be, Altman stated he is not worried about Musk’s new, higher-level role in President Donald Trump’s White House.

However, Musk and his partners’ roughly $100 Billion bid may cause OpenAI’s ambitions to fall apart. The nonprofit will most likely keep a share and must place a value on the transaction in order to spin off the for-profit division.
