Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says all three iPhone models for the year 2020 release will support 5G technology. According to Kuo, 2020 iPhone 5.4 inch and 6.7 inches will support 5g network while the 6.1-inch phone will only access LTE networks.
“Now he has issued a new report that all three iPhone models would support 5G,” says the Verge report.
“We now believe that all three new 2H20 iPhone models would support 5G for the following reasons. Apple has more resource for developing the 5G iPhone after the acquisition of Intel base-band business|”.
We expect that the prices of 5G Android smartphones will decline to $249-349 in the year 2020.
Apple will continue to use Qualcomm modems for all its 2020 flagship models despite the new acquisition. The new acquisition of Intel’s modem chip for $1 billion would give the company more resources for developing 5g iPhones quickly.
All iPhone’s models are expected to launch as per schedule in September this year as it has been happening for the last few years.
