It was expected that Apple will launch a cheaper yet classy SE phone earlier this year. Today, Apple announced its second-generation iPhone SE in Cupertino, California. The phone is a 4.7-inch Retina HD display and a compact design. The new iPhone SE is powered by a powerful A13 Bionic that is one of the fastest chip ever introduced in a smartphone. The amazing camera is designed to capture amazing moments even in dust and water resistance. The new iPhone SE comes in 3 unique colors – black, white and red.
“The first iPhone SE was a hit with many customers who loved its unique combination of small size, high-end performance and affordable price; the new second-generation iPhone SE builds on that great idea and improves on it in every way, including our best-ever single-camera system for great photos and videos while still being very affordable,” said Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.
The new iPhone SE is designed in aluminum, durable glass design with an all-black front and available in three colors. The rear glass showcases the traditional Apple logo that has a seven-layer color process to deliver a matching, in-depth rich color matching experience with the aluminum band. The SE phone is water, dust resistant.
The phone will be available for pre-order beginning Friday. April 17. The price is amazing $399 US only.
