Bye Bye Google+ Hangouts On Air. Google will discontinue Hangouts on Air from September 12th.

Google has decided that Google+ Hangouts On Air will not be available after September 12 and urges users to move to YouTube Live.

On the official Google Support Page it is announced today about the discontinuing of Google+ Hangouts On Air on September 12th.

Follow these steps to set up Hangouts On Air with YouTube Live:

  1. Go to Live Streaming Events in Creator Studio.
  2. Click New live event.
  3. Select Quick (using Google Hangouts On Air).
  4. Give your live stream a title.
  5. Click Go live now or enter in details to schedule your event for later.
  6. Use Hangouts to broadcast live.
