According to Apple’s most recent leaks by Code Leaks, the flagship device of the company is named as the iPhone X. the other three iPhones are going to be called as the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 plus along with the iPhone X, Bloomberg reported. The names have been leaked by the game developer Steven Troughton-Smith who found the names in the software.

The Premium version is the iPhone X which is being introduced with all new design and has features none of its previous models had. It is going to have an OLED screen, improved cameras, a 3-D facial recognition scanner for unlocking the flagship device.
The reason for the new model to be named as X is as the reference to the phone being the tenth-anniversary edition by Apple. The iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus will be to some extent similar to iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus but they will be equipped with faster processors.
It has been confirmed that in the new device the Touch ID fingerprint scanner will be replaced by facial unlocking feature and will be called the Face ID. It will be used for scanning the facial expressions of the user and then afterward will be turned into the animated emojis to be used for messaging. No home button will be present in the iPhone X rather a series of gestures will be applied in order to control the device.
