Islamabad, December 05 (APP): Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC), has declared the availability of need-based scholarships for fall 2023.
Eligibility and Application Process
Applications are invited from students enrolled in regular BS and BS (Lateral Entry) degree programs. However, students enrolled in Self-Finance/Self-Support/Evening/Weekend programs are ineligible for scholarship consideration. The scholarship is designed exclusively for economically disadvantaged and exceptionally deserving students at the undergraduate level.
Verification and Conditions
Official sources underscore that the data presented by students will go through intensive confirmation, including physical verification, to guarantee its validity. It is critical to take note that the grant might be disavowed if an understudy disregards university guidelines, participates in wrongdoing, or engages in disciplinary activity.
Disqualification and Disciplinary Measures
Provision of false information or identification of discrepancies will result in disqualification, retrieval of the awarded amount, and initiation of disciplinary proceedings. Only complete forms will be considered during the evaluation process.
Application Assessment and Interview
The QAU will assess the application forms, and the Institutional Scholarship Award Committee (ISAC) will invite shortlisted candidates for an interview.
Application Deadline and Submission
Applications must be submitted by December 12, 2023, to the Office of Students’ Financial Assistance, Room No. 17, Administration Block, along with supporting documents per the checklist. Forms delivered to any other office or received after the specified due date will not be entertained.
Scholarship Award Determinants
The approval, availability of funds, and the release of grants by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) determine the scholarship award and its continuity. Seats are limited, and applications received after the stipulated deadline will not be considered.
