According to the latest reports of ILO (International Labor Organization), Pakistan has become the third-largest contributor of technical manpower for digital and other online services.
The client pool for the analysis was based on developed countries like the United States of America (USA), the United Kingdom (UK), Australia, and Canada as the top demanding countries.
Most preferred jobs were related to Software development and technology. Other high-demand services were translation, financial, and designing.
Labor pool or supply of Labor to the demand of platforms for online jobs originated from developing countries including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Ukraine in particular, apart from the UK and the USA.
According to the report, the percentage of Women Digital Labors on online platforms was lowest in India (21 percent). The highest number were reported in Ukraine (39 percent) and the USA (41 percent).
