Peshawar has finally been successful to host its very first official Fiverr community meetup after innumerable requests and a lot of hard work from the freelance community of Peshawar.
The freelance community in Peshawar has grown tremendously over the years and plenty of opportunities are coming in to the city for the talented freelancers. The Fiverr team saw the growing potential of people in Peshawar in freelancing and finally agreed to arrange this informative session.
The special guests of event were Minister KP IT Mr. Shahram Khan Tarakai, and MD KPITB Dr. Shahbaz Khan.
The event began with a brilliant motivational talk by Mr. Hisham Sarwar which was followed by a very informative panel discussion with Ms. Anum Zulfiqar, Mr. Syed Arsalan Ali Shah, and Mr. Waleed Afridi. The Panel, moderated by Waqas Khan, discussed the key challenges and opportunities posed by the rise of freelancing and highlighted different methods through which beginners can stand out in the digital freelance industry.
The panelists also took time to explain the new search algorithm introduced by Fiverr. Following this, Syed Arsalan Ali Shah took the stage and offered actionable feedback to individuals on their Fiverr profiles to help them outperform their competition both in ranking and converting their gigs.
The interest of attendees and speakers in the event extended the event time from the scheduled 2 hours to 4 hours. The event was covered by Bol among other media partners. The aim of the event was to highlight KP on the MAPÂ as a region with a growing freelance community.
