The unpacking of the Samsung’s new device is ahead of the IFA tech show in Berlin which is the same place where in 2011 the company had released its version of the phablet. The details about Samsung’s future product have not been revealed yet but the upcoming devices are expected to have a dual camera system along with an improved design that curves on all sides. The launch of the upcoming Galaxy indicates that the tech giant is in no mood of giving up on its six-year-old Note line. After the launch of Samsung’s previous Note 7, it was recalled due to its battery exploding issues. The batteries got exploded due to excessive overheating. There were rumors that Samsung may abandon the Note name. These were not good times for the company but now, Samsung seems to be recovering from its previous set back coming head to head with Apple.
Some of the other features that are being rumored for the device include a Snapdragon 835 processor. This is something the company has long been planning for inclusion on the S8 along with a 3,300 battery.
The other specs include:
- Bixby AI 2.0
- Iris scanner along with a screen embedded fingerprint scanner
- 64GB built-in storage along with an option of wireless charging
- 12-megapixel dual rear cameras
- Water-resistant
- An Infinity Display
- Pressure-sensitive screen
- 3,300 mAh battery, downgrade from the Note 7 and the S8 Plus. Both supported 3,500 mAh.

- Bigger screen, 6.3 inches
