ADEK has propelled the Kon Moallim (Become a Teacher) initiative, to begin with of its kind in the UAE, to welcome Emiratis and expats from differing divisions into the educating calling. This program offers a pathway into instruction through a one-year authorised post-graduate recognition in instruction.
What is Kon Moallim?
The Kon Moallim initiative is designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice in education. By fostering diversity among educators, the program brings unique perspectives from various professional backgrounds into classrooms. This diversity enriches learning, sparks curiosity, and encourages practical, real-world applications for students.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify for the program, applicants must:
- Be 25 years or older
- Possess a bachelor’s degree from an approved university in any field.
- Possess a love for teaching and outstanding communication abilities.
Selection and Training
The selection process is rigorous, and ADEK will sponsor the first batch of 125 candidates to complete the one-year training program. This program, conducted in association with the best higher education institutions such as Abu Dhabi University, Al Ain University, and Emirates College for Advanced Education, is planned to prepare members for a satisfying education career.
