WAbeta info, a website and a Twitter account that keeps a close eye on latest WhatsApp development have a surprising revelation.
The author says:
Today I’m ready to launch a new rumor, and personally, I think that’s surprising news. WhatsApp is developing a new system to allow to use the same WhatsApp account on more devices, at the same time!
This means — if this update is rolled-out it will have the following features;
- Your main WhatsApp account on iPad can be used without uninstalling it from your iPhone.
- You would be able to use the same WhatsApp account on iOS and Android devices.
- WhatsApp on your computer and multiple computers over one QCode scan.
You will be able to use the same account on Windows Phone (using UWP) and WhatsApp for Windows (always the UWP version).
Currently, as we know WhatsApp works on one phone and one computer called WhatsApp web. If this rumor holds true, in the future, you will be able to use WhatsApp like iMessenger without worrying about running the app against one phone number.
I’ve concluded that WhatsApp is collecting features to enable in a major iOS/Android update.
I’m very curious to know what else it will contain.. for example I know a <<small>> redesign on WhatsApp for iOS should happen for sure, and something else…— WABetaInfo (@WABetaInfo) July 18, 2019
