According to WabetaInfo, a website that keeps a close eye on new features of WhatsApp, the world’s most famous messaging App is going to introduce a ‘Advanced Search’ for its users soon. The feature will be rolled out for iPhone users first and then for Android users later.
The Facebook owned company is already set to introduce many new features such as Dark Mode, this new search feature called ‘Advance Search’ will let users search for photos, links, audio, GIF images, and even videos. Currently int he App, there is a basic search feature that lets you search for a text but now the users will be able to search for the media too.
The new feature will also show users how many media files are stored in the WhatsApp storage. The new feature will also show search history which can be cleared by one click. WhatsApp users will be able to search for the media files from within individual as well as from group chats.
